Team Moves Up to Third
Menlo's Biggest Turnout for a Championship Meet

The 2000 Pacific Masters Short Course Yards Championship Meet was held on April 7, 8, and 9 at the University of California, Santa Cruz. A team-record-sized squad of 72 Menlo Masters swimmers competed and brought the team it's highest placing ever in the Short Course Yards Championships. Menlo finished third with 1631 points. The University of San Francisco, and their squad of 160+ swimmers was first and perennial power Walnut Creek Masters was second. Menlo's previous best finish was 5th.
