What are the Annual Team Fees used for?

The annual team fee is used for awards, food after workouts, sag support supplies, intramural event production - all things that go into improving the quality and value of the team.

Why can't I pay my monthly or quarterly membership with a check?

Our teams have grown to a size where manual collection of checks each month or quarter is simply not possible. Automatic payment by credit or debit card allows us to collect dues much more efficiently, and it also puts us in a better position to meet our payment obligations for our facilities in a timely manner.

How do I cancel, suspend, or change my membership?

We require 30 days advance notice in writing to cancel or change a membership, or to stop automatic payments. Notice for a change or cancellation must be given by the first of any month in order to apply for the following month, since billing is done on the first day of every month. A $25 reinstatement/change fee will be charged for memberships stopped and re-started, for memberships put on hold for any period of time, or for any other administrative changes made to memberships and membership type.

To give notice, simply send an e-mail to membership@menlomasters.com indicating you wish to cancel or change your membership, or write to Team Sheeper, 501 Laurel Street, Menlo Park, CA 94025.

USMS sent me a renewal form in the mail/via the web. Should I fill it out and send it in, or wait to do it through our team's registration process?

So that we can feel most confident that all our members are getting the insurance protection they need, we would prefer that you register for USMS through our process. We will send your USMS registration in to Pacific Masters Swimming in a timely manner.

Oops. I already mailed my USMS registration directly to Pacific Masters. Do I need to do it again?

No. Please just make sure we are aware that you've already registered for the current calendar year.

If I'm bringing in my USMS form, to whom do I make out the check for the USMS fee?

Normally, you don't need to write a check at all. We include the USMS fee in the total sign-up fee you pay.

If for some reason you do need to write a separate check for the USMS fee, please make it out to Team Sheeper, not Pacific Masters Swimming or Menlo Masters, despite what it may say on the form.
